👋 I am Paul Pajot!

I am the creative director of coucou design and a marine biology hobbyist working in the London design industry for the last 10 years.

My approach

I believe the emotional power of visual storytelling can help us shift our perspective to better understand and protect the world we live in.

My storytelling skills in animation and illustration combined with my multidisciplinary experience of communication design and knowledge and care for ecosystems can really help my clients get powerful outcomes.

In my project, I usually follow a design approach:

Draw the picture

It all starts with an idea: defining a simple but bold creative direction that matches your vision and speaks to your audiences

Think wide

With this framework in mind, we’ll be able to think outside the box, experiment and test our ideas until defining 2-3 visual narratives

Work together

Together we test out our concepts through workshops, discussions and prototyping until finalising the creative solution

Once the creative solution is set, we finalise the design and hand it over to you, making sure you’re able to maintain and adapt it as your needs evolve.

I collaborates regularly with specialists in web development, architecture, 3D modelling, animation and writing.

"His latest short movie, SALMO, hopes to offer an imaginative experiment into the skin of a salmon and bring visibility to this resilient species by following their entire journey underwater. By shifting the perspective to foster empathy and reflect on our own presence in nature, Paul, his animation crew and production company La Méridienne hope to bring about change, one story at a time."
